Production and New Patients Reports Are Moving to Scorecards

This article will walk you through what's changing, where to find your data, and how to get the most out of Scorecards going forward.

Written by Erika Gardner

Effective August 2026, the Production Report and New Patients Report in the Analytics-only portal will no longer be available. All of the data you've relied on in those reports is now available — and more actionable than ever — in Scorecards.

What's Changing

Starting in August 2026, the Production and New Patients Reports will be removed from the Analytics-only portal. If you currently use either of these reports to track practice performance, you'll want to transition to Scorecards before that date.

Don't worry — no data is going away. Scorecards surfaces the same key metrics in a more flexible, real-time format.

Why Scorecards?

Scorecards were built to give you a faster, clearer view of how your practice is performing — without needing to run a separate report. Unlike the Analytics-only Production and New Patient Reports, Scorecards:

  • Update in real time, so you're always looking at current data

  • Let you compare performance across custom date ranges

  • Allow you to set goals and track progress toward them

  • Are accessible directly from your unified Dental Intelligence dashboard

How to Use Scorecards

Step 1: Navigate to Scorecards. From your Dental Intelligence dashboard, then click Scorecards in the left-hand navigation menu.

Step 2: Select Your Date Range. At the top of the Scorecards page, use the date range selector to choose the time period you want to review. You can select from preset ranges (This Month, Last Month, Year to Date, etc.) or enter a custom range.

Step 3: Review Your Metrics. Each scorecard card displays your metric total for the selected period, along with a comparison to your goal (if set) and your performance in the prior period.

Step 4: Drill Into the Details. Click on any location or provider name to open a detailed breakdown. Here you can view trends over time, filter by provider or location, and export data if needed.

Step 5: Set Goals (Recommended). To get the most out of Scorecards, set monthly or annual goals for your key metrics. Navigate to Settings > Goals to configure targets for Production, Collections, New Patients, and more. Learn how to set goals.
