Creating an Analytics Follow Up Task from the Analytics Patient Card

Dental Intelligence offers two separate task management tools: Team Tasks in the unified Dental Intelligence dashboard and Follow Up Tasks in the Analytics Module. The functionality between these tools is different.

This article explains the Analytics Follow Up Tasks functionality and is part of the Analytics Module. Analytics Follow Up Tasks are only accessible from the Analytics-Only portal.

How to Create an Individual Follow Up Task

  1. Navigate to the patient's card (profile) in Dental Intelligence by either clicking on their name anywhere you see it or by searching for the patient in the search bar

  2. Then simply click the "+" icon from within the patient card

  3. Next, make the following selections:

    1. Choose the Follow Up Task type you would like to create (Unscheduled Hygiene, Unscheduled Treatment, Unscheduled Broken Appointment, Post Op, Past Due Account, Past Due Claim, Other)

    2. Assign Team Member to be responsible for the task. Simply click the drop down menu and click on the team member name

    3. Select the due date. This is when the task will appear in your to do list in the Open Follow Up Tasks dashboard

  4. Lastly, add a Note to refer to when contacting the patient. Click Create and you're done!
