What notes from my PMS can I see in the Analytics patient card?

Learn which note types from your Practice Management Software (PMS) are available in the Analytics-only patient card and when you need to contact support to enable them

Depending on your Dental Intelligence subscription, you will either utilize the Dental Intelligence Patient Card or the Analytics Patient Card. The functionality between these tools is different.

This article explains Analytics patient card functionality and is part of the Analytics Module. The Analytics patient card is only accessible from the Analytics-Only portal.

How PMS Notes Sync to the Analytics-Only Patient Card

Different PMS systems handle note syncing differently. Some notes sync automatically to the patient card, while others require you to request activation from our support team.

You can access notes from your PMS in the Analytics-only patient card by navigating to Activity > Filter and applying the note types you would like to review.

Dentrix Notes - REQUIRES SUPPORT REQUEST

⚠️ Action Required: Dentrix notes do NOT write back to the Analytics-only patient card automatically. You must contact our support team to enable them.

Once enabled by support, the following note types will be available from Dentrix in the Analytics-only patient card:

  • Office Journal

  • Patient notes

  • Guarantor Account notes

To enable Dentrix notes: Contact the Dental Intelligence support team and request that Dentrix notes be added for your account.

Eaglesoft Notes - Automatic

✓ No action needed - These notes sync with the Analytics-only patient card automatically:

  • Operatory

  • Contract

  • General

  • Letter

  • Modified

  • Transaction

  • Pre Auth

  • Primary Claim

  • Secondary Claim

  • Primary Insurance

  • Secondary Insurance

  • Recall

  • Rx Writer

  • Statement

  • Accountant

Open Dental Notes - Automatic

✓ No action needed - These notes sync with the Analytics-only patient card automatically:

  • Commlog

Fuse Notes

Not Available: Notes from Fuse are not currently pulled into the Analytics-only patient card.
